Most suppliers offer an 'off the shelf' rubber cord that is either too soft and spongy or too hard. Our cord has been specially designed and fabricated with an exact durometer (hardness) for rotary valve instruments offering the proper amount of resistance to the rotor stop.
Extruded from a very high grade of rubber, it greatly resists drying out and turning hard over time. Far superior and longer lasting than cork and most often preferred by professionals and teachers.
